East Midlands 14-19 Curriculum Conference 2007

Question & Answer - Catherine PAULSON-ELLIS

"14-19 Reforms; the Big Picture - Update on Diploma Developments"
Will approved consortia who want to add an extra provider within the same line of learning have to go through the Gateway again?
Catherine Paulson-Ellis -
"The answer is "No", but we are anticipating some sort of validation process, though the details haven't been worked out.
In April, after the Gateway results have been announced a package of information will be going out, for successful consortia and for unsuccessful ones.  We expect that this will cover details such as the question above and other information on workforce support, future Gateway arrangements, etc."
