Free Journalism Masterclass at De Montfort University

Journalism: HOW TO BE A NEWSPAPER JOURNALIST
Using newsroom-standard computers, this practical and interactive workshop will give participants an insight into the adrenaline-bursting world of reporting. By the end of the workshop students will take away a front page that they have produced in Quark Xpress complete with a picture by lined story they have written.
YEAR GROUP: Year 10 & 11
DATE: Friday 12th February 2010, 10am – 3pm
DURATION: 5 hours (including 45 minute lunch break)
COST: Free
PARTICIPANTS: 6 – 12 students
OTHER DETAILS: Students need to bring a notebook and two pens. Lunch will be provided.
