Parent and Carer Page
Parents and CarersDepending on their school or college a student may be placed on work experience for one or two weeks, in some cases students may be placed for one or two days per week for a longer period of time. For most students this will be their first experience of a working environment and many situations will be new and strange to them. It is crucial to student development that this first experience of work is a positive learning situation. The outcomes of work experience can be many and varied but we would expect all placements to develop social skills and work specific skills.
